Ivy Cottage Tour

Ivy Cottage is located at the end of Hinton Lane. Turn in here and begin your tour. You will be greeted by lush landscaping as you enter the Lane. A beautiful river view awaits as you approach Ivy Cottage. A gate defines the entrance to Mrs. Hinton's Farm. A small colonial fence defines your parking area as you turn into the Cottage. As you walk up to the Cottage your beautiful river view comes into focus. As you approach the Cottage and open the door your tour will begin. As you step inside you will notice the Cottage features custom window treatments with coordinated upholstery. Your own cozy living room features cable TV, VCR, and DVD player. Bring your movies or enjoy our limited collection. Cool central air or warm gas heat will make your stay comfortable anytime you visit. Breakfast cereals, breads and one quart of fresh milk along with a selection of teas and coffee are available for your breakfast dining. The living room adjoins a full kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, full sized range and refridgerator. The Cottage has been completely renovated and redecorated to meet your every need and delight your senses. The bedroom adjoins a utility hall where a large walk in closet is located for your clothing and luggage storage. A washing machine is also available. A comfortable king bed with a view to the water will sooth you. The bed and bath feature quality linens to pamper our guests. Faux finish wallpaper custom spreads, pillows and window treatments all add to the ambiance of your bedroom. Twin beds are available upon special request for a reasonable fee to reconfigure the room. Your private bath with shower is located adjacent to your bedroom. A beautiful sunroom is located adjacent to your bedroom. Perfect for morning coffee and a book. Enjoy this bright and airy porch and watch the sunset with a special person. The Cottage features a nice selection of books for your enjoyment during your stay. Browse through tourist information on the area or watch the wildlife and birds from the climate controlled comfort of the porch.(Binoculars provided) The beauty and peace of the River will infuse tranquility.
